This Giveaway is Currently Closed
As you may know, I am passionate about light – and its power to affect the way we feel. My colleagues and I have done extensive research on light therapy for seasonal affective disorder, depression and the winter blues. Also, I have used and prescribed light therapy for years. I am very happy to be part of this giveaway to help get high-quality light therapy products into the hands of those who may enjoy and benefit from them.

Full spectrum light therapy is quite simply light therapy technology that is closest to mimicking the natural light of the suns rays. You can see why it would be most useful in low light conditions.
The folks over at Verilux have generously offered some of their best products for our giveaway. Verilux specializes in Full Spectrum Lighting, Compact Fluorescent Bulbs and UVC Light Products. Verilux will be shipping the lamps to nine randomly selected individuals who enter to win.

I have very serious issues with my depression, mainly because I never can seem to notice the warning signs. I normally hit rock bottom so fast an without it even coming on, I’ve tried to talk to so many different types of therapist, counselors ect. At this point I’m desperate for any advice or help…
I am the caregiver for my aunt Ami who is 96. When she came to live with me 4 years ago, her doctor wanted to put her on antidepressants. He said that was typical for folks with dementia, as she obviously had. I said give me a couple of months. I did some research & got her a light box that I shine on her several hours a day. Her mood picked up almost immediately. After 4 years of taking care of her, I use it too! Recently, her hallucinations & delusions got really scary & she wasn’t sleeping, which made the hallucinations & delusions worse. I started giving her coconut oil & she is so much at peace. That’s all I want for her. Thanks for your research on the light box.
