Capital Clinical Research Associates

Dr. Rosenthal has been the CEO of Capital Clinical Research Associates since 1991. CCRA is a private clinical research center that has conducted pharmaceutical research aimed at improving the treatment for emotional and behavioral health.

The clinic has a special interest in research evaluating emerging alternative and complementary medical therapies. For example, we studied the effects of Transcendental Meditation on a group of veterans with combat related post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which led to a paper currently in press in Military Medicine. We are currently studying the efficacy of Botox injections into the forhead in patients with depression.

The CCRA team is made up of board-certified psychiatrists, experienced clinicians and highly qualified research coordinators. CCRA has worked with a number of major pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations. Dr. Norman E. Rosenthal supervises research and patient care throughout each study.

Located in Rockville MD, CCRA draws participants from the entire metropolitan Washington DC area.
